Hi folks, today is Malaysia's Day!! Nothing special for me, just a public holiday which i can do anything!! I felt like I didnt concern my blog anymore, so i try to blog these badasses today, or else I will go lazy again.
Past few months ago, I started to watch make up videos. I saw these brushes always, like seriously always appear at any make up videos. Blogger or youtubers seem to like them so much. I heard these are drugstore products! BUT, they are looks like high-end products. I tell myself, one day I'm gonna get them. So i googled it, Malaysian bloggers did blog about them. They bought them at iHerb.com which is a American website that you can get any skincare, food (?!?!), sports supplies and etc. They even sell Real Techniques brushes! Bloggers even said that this website sells the cheapest price of Real Techniques brushes. Come on, 'cheapest' already grabbed my heart away.
I ordered them about months ago. Honestly, you can just order your products and then they will deliver on your doorstep just few days. I guess they are using DHL service if not mistaken. The delivery fee is not that expensive, you can give it a try. Any debit card can be use unless it has no VISA on it. But, I used a wrong way. I asked my friend, Louis who is living in USA now. I sent the products' pictures that I wanted to him. He helped me to order them. I was so stupid enough that I didnt give him my home address...SO the products sent to his house. He helped me to buy another make up product at a make up store ( which I dont know what its name ) and gonna delivery all the items to me. Thats why I waited for like 1,2 months!! STILL, thank you Louis, thanks for helping me to gather these products. Its kinda weird for a guy to walk in make up store to buy make up product. Thanks anyway!!! I wanna give a big hug if you don't mind AHAHAHHA! ( Just the shipping fee is damn freaking expensive....)
This is how it looked like, came with a box!
So the first thing I wanna share is my holy grail eye shadow palette from Lorac! Its the only high-end product in this box, but who cares!? I love all these stuff either is high-end or drugstore!
The packaging is just so simple, oh and it came with a mini eye primer. This palette contains 14 different colours of eyeshadow. The upper is matte and lower is shimmery eyeshadows. I'm gonna blog this anyway, just let you guys have a look.
Elf Studio is a make up brand based in USA which sells quite good quality of make up products in a very cheap price. I heard this brand from a Youtube make up guru Kathleen Light. She introduced some make up products from Elf before, and i guess I have to give it a try! Seriously, so damn cheap. I mean, how come this so cheap?! *crazy*
I less wear eyeshadows cause I dont like my eyeshadows go wild after sometime, you know what I mean, especially people who have double eyelids. My eye lids are quite oily type, so any eyeshadows will just disappear after few hours. Urghh. Thats why I bought this Mineral Eyeshadow Primer in Sheer. It is so easy to apply and you dont need to apply that much, just a little bit will be okay and long lasting for a day. Trust me, cause i have experienced it already and it only costs 3 $!!!
Okay, I really dont understand why i bought this...I have two powders that havent finish. What's problem with me? This High Definition Powder in Shimmer is contains some shimmery inside, which I guess can give a highlight finishing look? Like your face will looks sooo glowy. The only thing I dont like from this product is the package is sooo plastic. I mean really you can feel it made of those cheap plastic. Well, what I can expect? Its only 6 $!
As you can see this is a Make up mist & set which means after you apply your make up, you just spray it on your face...like 17cm away from your face. It smelless and contains aloe, green tea, cucumber, and Vitamin A, C & E. This product can actually hydrate your skin, good for any skin types, unless you are sensitive with some materials here. About long last your make up, I can't give you a pretty sure answer because I havent try it out yet.
Do you ever try a 3 $ brush? I was so curious about the quality until I got it. The quality of the brush is quite soft. I made a comparison with Elianto brush that I bought, surprisingly Elianto brush is smaller but not as soft as this one. This is Complexion brush, you can use it in many ways. I use for contour and blush and seem okay with me.
Finally gonna talk about Real Techniques brushes! I bought like 3 sets of brushes and 3 single brushes, just because they are not include in these 3 sets plus I feel like I will need them in my future. Oh, I forgot to take picture of my stippling brush, just click to view the details :D
So the first Real Technique brush is this Powder Brush. It is so HUGE! ;w; I never have this huge brush before in my life! Even tho is so huge, the brush is super soft! This is a great brush for set up your make up with loose powder. Some people use this with bronzer, well I guess is another multi-brush!
This blush brush just not looks like ordinary blush brush! For me is just like a contour brush more! Another huge brush for me, just looks like professional make up artist *-* I really love how soft is this and the moment when the brush touches my face...I will have brush-orgasm. For your information, this brush cant really works well when you try to brush it like in round form. Cause the tip of the brush I guess. It doesnt swirl well.
Right now I will talk about the 3 sets of brushes. Some brushes are actually the same but in different sets. Which mean I have extra brushes lol for spare. The first 2 sets come with the holder, but I dont think I will put them inside unless I need to bring them for travel. Or else I will just put my brushes in a jar. ( for decorations LOL)
The first set contains 4 brushes and I forgot the names actually...what i remember is the buffing brush, pointed foundation brush, detailer brush and lastly is the buffing blush. I havent use the pointed and the detailer brush yet, so I cant give any comment but the other two, seriously are my favorite now.
This starter set contains 5 brushes which are base shadow brush, deluxe crease brush, accent brush, fine liner brush and brow brush. The base shadow brush is like normal eyeshadow brush but this one is kinda wide, I need to be so carefully when use it on my eye lid cause mine is not that big lol. Luckily the crease brush will help me blend the eyeshadow nicely so the eyeshadow looks natural on my eyelid. While the accent brush is suitable when you wanna apply eyeshadow on your lower eye and it does smudge better than my other brushes. Lastly, the brow brush is a good brush for apply brow shadows on your brows. But I use this as eye liner brush too cause can easily give me that cat liner shape.
The last set! I dont know why I bought this one...again I always get confused with make up products. It contains multi-task brush, buffing brush ( SEE ), essential crease brush ( although the name looks familiar with the crease brush, but is much more smaller than the crease brush ), setting brush, pointed foundation brush ( yes, i got the same one from the previous set ) and line brush ( which i got this too )
Multi-task brush is means you can use it in many ways! But for me, I prefer use it as blush brush. As I said, the blush brush from the previous set actually cant blend well in swirl form, so this brush just replace it. It actually blends very well :D I use setting brush to blend my concealer under my eyes, quite weird way to use huh -w-" Since I have two line brushes, I use one for lip liner brush and another will keep for my cream/gel liner. Sadly to say, use this lip liner brush just not a good idea, cause it takes sooo LONG to finish the look.
Now gonna show you how i use these brushes. By the way, is in my way, you dont need to follow me. I just get use to my way to use these brushes.
Start with bare face, my face looks terrible and terrible after I changed my job. Sit under the air-condition room just makes my skin looks more shit.
Apply my all time favorite foundation from Lancome.
Use my stippling brush step on it and blend it out on my face.
After blend it out, I will use buffing blush to continue blend it. Just wanna to give a finish look.
Its brow time! Use this brow brush to draw a straight line on my brow and fill them in.
Later I will apply concealer to cover up my dark eye circles with this setting brush.
I already applied eyeliner and eyeshadows *w* Eyeshadows are from Urban Decay Naked 3 palette, I just dont know why the colours came out sooo naturally.
Contour my face with this contour brush
With the same brush, I use it to blush my cheek... ( okay I'm just lazy...)
SEE! The powder brush is soo freaking HUGE! Set my face up with loose powder.
tadaaa!! Finish! ( only half face with make up...) I permed my hair recently and I really love my hair now!! Prefer curly hair then natural straight hair~
Thats it for my blog today. I feel wanna blog some favorite products and the review of Lorac Pro palette. Stay tuned!
Those are nice makeup brush set ! Thanks for the review.
